ഇരു കൈ യാനൈയൈ ഒത്തു ഇരുന്തു, എന് ഉളക് കരുവൈ യാന് കണ്ടിലേന്; കണ്ടതു എവ്വമേ; വരുക' എന്റു പണിത്തനൈ; വാന് ഉളോര്ക്കു ഒരുവനേ! കിറ്റിലേന്; കിറ്പന്, ഉണ്ണവേ.	[ 41 ]
My heart is like an elephant with two trunks. I have not seen the lord, origin of the world, and all I know is trouble. You called me to come to you but I am not able to— I want only to live in this world and enjoy life. You are the highest among the gods in the sky. [45]
ഉണ്ടു ഓര് ഒള് പൊരുള്' എന്റു ഉണര്വാര്ക്കു എലാമ് പെണ്ടിര്, ആണ്, അലി, എന്റു അറി ഒണ്കിലൈ; തൊണ്ടനേറ്കു ഉള്ളവാ വന്തു തോന്റിനായ്; കണ്ടുമ് കണ്ടിലേന്: എന്ന കണ് മായമേ!	[ 42 ]
Your devotees sense that there is something that is highest, but they do not know whether it is female, male or ali. You came to me your devotee and gave your true presence. Even though I saw you, I do not know you. What is this magic? [46]
മേലൈ വാനവരുമ് അറിയാതതു ഓര് കോലമേ, എനൈ ആട്കൊണ്ട കൂത്തനേ, ഞാലമേ, വിചുമ്പേ, ഇവൈ വന്തു പോമ് കാലമേ! ഉനൈ എന്റു കൊല് കാണ്പതേ?	[ 43 ]
Even the gods in the sky do not know you with your lovely form. You are the dancer who made me yours, you are the world, you are the sky, and you are time that comes and goes. When can I see you? [47]
കാണല് ആമ് പരമേ, കട്കു ഇറന്തതു ഓര് വാള് നിലാപ് പൊരുളേ, ഇങ്കു, ഒര് പാര്പ്പു എന, പാണനേന് പടിറ്റു ആക്കൈയൈ വിട്ടു, ഉനൈപ് പൂണുമ് ആറു അറിയേന് പുലന് പോറ്റിയേ.	[ 44 ]
You are the highest and no one can see you. I am like a little bird, a low Paanan and I do not know how to see you leaving this body and the pleasures of my senses. [48]
പോറ്റി' എന്റുമ്, പുരണ്ടുമ്, പുകഴ്ന്തുമ് നിന്റു, ആറ്റല് മിക്ക അന്പാല് അഴൈക്കിന്റിലേന്; ഏറ്റു വന്തു എതിര്, താമരൈത് താള് ഉറുമ് കൂറ്റമ് അന്നതു ഓര് കൊള്കൈ എന് കൊള്കൈയേ.	[ 45 ]
I do not praise you or roll on the ground to worship you, I do not speak of your fame or call to you with love, but I want to go against my own desires and come before you and worship your lotus feet. I want to be like Yama who opposed you but was able only to worship your feet. [49]

കൊള്ളുമ്കില്, എനൈ അന്പരില് കൂയ്പ് പണി കള്ളുമ്, വണ്ടുമ്, അറാ മലര്ക് കൊന്റൈയാന്; നള്ളുമ്, കീഴ് ഉളുമ്, മേല് ഉളുമ്, യാ ഉളുമ്, എള്ളുമ് എണ്ണെയുമ് പോല്, നിന്റ എന്തൈയേ?	[ 46 ]
He is adorned with a kondrai flower garland swarming with bees and dripping with honey. Will he call me, make me join his devotees and make me do his service. My father is omnipresent and stays above the sky, under the world and everywhere inside the world. He is like the oil in a sesame seed and we cannot see him. [50]
എന്തൈ, യായ്, എമ്പിരാന്; മറ്റുമ് യാവര്ക്കുമ് തന്തൈ, തായ്, തമ്പിരാന്; തനക്കു അഃതു ഇലാന്; മുന്തി എന്നുള് പുകുന്തനന് യാവരുമ് ചിന്തൈയാലുമ് അറിവു അരുമ് ചെല്വനേ.	[ 47 ]
My lord is my father and mother and the father and mother of all, but he has no father or mother. No one can understand that dear one through knowledge. Before he entered anyone else, he entered my heart. [51]
ചെല്വമ്, നല്കുരവു, ഇന്റി; വിണ്ണோര്, പുഴു, പുല് വരമ്പു ഇന്റി; യാര്ക്കുമ് അരുമ് പൊരുള് എല്ലൈ ഇല് കഴല് കണ്ടുമ് പിരിന്തനന്: കല് വകൈ മനത്തേന് പട്ട കട്ടമേ!	[ 48 ]
He does not discriminate between poor and wealthy, gods, worms and grass—he gives his grace to all. I am separated from that wonderful god and do not worship his great ornamented feet even though I saw them. My heart is like a stone and I have only trouble. [52]
കട്ടു അറുത്തു, എനൈ ആണ്ടു, കണ് ആര, നീറു ഇട്ട അന്പരൊടു, യാവരുമ് കാണവേ, പട്ടിമണ്ടപമ് ഏറ്റിനൈ, ഏറ്റിനൈ എട്ടിനോടു ഇരണ്ടുമ് അറിയേനൈയേ.	[ 49 ]
You released me from all my troubles. You made me wear divine white ashes and made me part of the assembly of your dear devotees so all would accept me as your devotee. I am ignorant of the ten things-- water, fire, earth, wind, sky, sun, moon, breath, Shivam and Shakthi. [53]
അറിവനേ! അമുതേ! അടി നായിനേന് അറിവന് ആകക് കൊണ്ടോ, എനൈ ആണ്ടതുമ്? അറിവു ഇലാമൈ അന്റേ കണ്ടതു, ആണ്ട നാള്? അറിവനോ, അല്ലനോ? അരുള്, ഈചനേ!	[ 50 ]
Your form is knowledge and you are sweet nectar. I, your slave, am a dog. Was it stupid of you to make me yours? Tell me, am I wise or not? Give me your grace. [54]
