Our Mission
The California Thirumurai & Thiruppugazh Group is dedicated to spreading the beauty of arulālargaḷ pādalgaḷ—including Thirumurai, Thevaaram, Thiruvaasagam, and Thiruppugazh—to the wider community. Our goal is to make these sacred Tamil scriptures accessible to everyone across the world, by presenting them in multiple language scripts.
Originally hosted on sivasiva.org, all content has now been moved to sivaya.org for easier access and to meet the bandwidth.

Local Activities
- Temple Recitations: We recite Thirumurai and Thiruppugazh at local temples during special occasions such as Pradhosam, Krithikai, and Chathurthi
- Weekly Online Sessions: Every week from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm Pacific Time, we host online recitations.
- Thiruvaasagam Mutrothal: We are blessed to conduct Thiruvaasagam Mutrothal in Bay Area temples and other community spaces.

Approximately 6 hours.
🏠 What arrangements are needed?
- Space for at least 10 people
- Optional items: Shiva Lingam, Kailasanathar photo, Natarajar photo, or statues
- Simple lunch, snacks, or tea for devotees
🙏 What will we bring?
- 10 to 30 devotees for the Mutrothal
- A few Thiruvaasagam books in Tamil (online versions available in other languages)
